1. KNOW YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE
We talk about this a lot, but knowing your target audience will help you generate messages that vibe with your audience. Use demographic data and market research to decide who your target audience is, what they want, and where they spend their time online.
- MARKET RESEARCH: Gather market research data to know more about your potential clients and customers. Demographics like age, salary, education, location, and gender would help.
- DEVELOP BUYER PERSONAS: Use the data you collect to create buyer personas. Buyer personas are fictional representations of your ideal customers. Buyer personas tend to include demographic data, as well as information about their interests, goals, pain points, and purchasing habits.
- ANALYZE CUSTOMER DATA: Examine the customer data you already have to learn more about your current customers. See if there are common characteristics and purchasing patterns.
To make the process even more seamless, use data analytic tools to help you find out customer data.
2. DEVELOP A STRONG BRAND IDENTITY
A strong brand identity will help you stand out from the competition, creating a long-lasting relationship with your customers. Some times it’s the subtle ways to improve your marketing that stand out the most. See if your website, social media profiles, and other marketing materials are consistent in terms of design, tone, and messaging. If not, Forenza Studios can surely help! Shameless plug of course.
- DEVELOP BRAND GUIDELINES: Develop brand guidelines that share your brand’s visual identity, tone, and messaging. Always make sure all of your marketing materials and assets, from your website, social media, print and digital advertisements, follow these guidelines.
- CREATE A UNIQUE LOGO: Develop a logo that speaks for your brand and separates you from the competition. Use colors, designs, and elements that are easily recognizable, unique to your brand.
- USE CONSISTENT MESSAGING: Consistent messaging across all of your marketing channels makes your efforts sound cohesive. Your brand’s message should be aligned with your brand values and should correlate with what your target audience is searching for. If your marketing messages have random noise, it can discourage your audience from seeing you as the solution to their problem.
There are branding automation tools out there that can help create a logo, brand guidelines, and other visuals for your brand. Unfortunately, we don’t know any that we can recommend that ensure achieving the highest quality.
